Sealed Bid Proposals will be received at the City Clerk's Office of the City of Pleasanton, Civic Center, 123 Main Street, Pleasanton, CA 94566, until 2:00 P.M., March 15, 2010, for work as described in the Plans and Specifications entitled: Bernal Avenue-Meadowlark Drive Street Improvement Project CIP No. 045018

Project Description: The work shall consist of, but not limited to, the removal and replacement of median curb and the construction of stamped concrete pavement, asphalt concrete pavement and cobble stone median. The work shall also include reconstruction of an access ramp and installation of surface applied detectable warning surfaces to existing ramps.

Engineers Construction Cost Estimate: $50,000

Contractor License(s) ___ either a Class A or a Class C-8 contractor license

Project Description: The work shall consist of resurfacing of the existing roadway with Open Graded asphalt concrete. The work shall also include isolated pavement repair (base repair) , traffic detector loops installation, concrete curb/gutter/ADA ramps installation, and traffic striping.

Engineers Construction Cost Estimate: $485,000

Description The City of Pleasanton is seeking proposals for turfgrass mowing and edging service at thirteen (13) park sites. All work to be performed shall be in accordance with the City of Pleasanton Standard Specifications and Details, June 2002, the General and Special Provisions (Exhibit B), and shall be overseen by the Parks Superintendent. The selected company will provide the following services: „hƒnSupervision and management of services; „hƒnDaily response to questions and service requests; „hƒnTurfgrass mowing; „h Edging of turfgrass where it meets with hard edges, valve boxes, and hard to mow areas; „h Site clean-up after each mowing or edging.

Description The City of Pleasanton is seeking proposals for tree trimming and removal services at various park, street, and golf course locations throughout the City. Work also includes tree inventory data collection of work performed at existing and at new site locations and maintenance of inventory system. All work to be performed shall be in accordance with the City of Pleasanton Standard Specifications and Details, June 2002, the General and Special Provisions (Exhibit C), and shall be overseen by the Parks Superintendent. The selected company will provide the following services:

•Tree trimming and removal;
•Stump grinding and removal;
•Respond to after-hours emergency call-outs;
•Bi-monthly updates of all tree activities supplied in an approved tree inventory management software;
•Tree inventory data collection at new sites and the entry of collected data into approved tree management software;
•Satisfactory chipping of wood debris, so it can be recycled as mulch; and
•Hauling and disposal of all wood debris which cannot be chipped and recycled.
