Description The work shall generally consist of resurfacing approximately 528,000 square feet of Stoneridge Drive and 145,000 square feet of Vineyard Avenue by placing a new layer of asphalt over the existing pavement surface with type RHMA-G (5,094 tons) on Stoneridge Drive and Type A (1,721 tons) on Vineyard Avenue.

The work shall also include base repair, pavement cold plane (milling), adjust appurtenances to grade, and installation of traffic detector loops, pavement markers, legends, and striping as required in the contract documents. The contractor shall furnish all labor, materials, equipment, incidentals, transportation and other necessary services to complete the work in accordance with these Project Plans and Special Provisions.

The Engineer's cost estimate for this project is $1,020,000.

expand/collapse RFQ For CITY OF PLEASANTON’S ON CALL SERVICES FOR TRANSPORTATION ASSET MANAGEMENT PROGRAM
 

Description The City of Pleasanton’s Community Development Department is currently seeking a structural engineering firm for on-call services to assist the City in developing and implementing a transportation structures asset management program to complement the existing pavement management program (Street Saver). Transportation structures to be included in the program include all structures that have vehicular or pedestrian traffic above or below them with a diameter or span greater than 36”. The term of the contract will be three (3) years (FY 2013-2016), with a not to exceed, aggregate total contract amount of $750,000. The anticipated services may include: further development of a City transportation structures maintenance program compliant to the Caltrans Bridge Preventive Maintenance Program (BPMP) requirements, City wide inventory of existing transportation structures, detailed inspection of existing structures, load rating analysis, seismic evaluation, preparation of plans and specifications for selected bridge preventive maintenance projects, applying and implementing grant funding.

RFQ may be obtained at the Engineering Division of the City of Pleasanton, Civic Center, 200 Old Bernal Avenue, at no cost. The RFQ shall be posted on E-Bid board and available at the City’s website at www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us.

Statements must be received no later than 5:00 p.m., local time, on May 31, 2013, at the Department of Community Development, Engineering Division, and City of Pleasanton. Address to:
