Zoning Approval
Contact Planning Services to verify that the business is permitted at the desired location. Zoning approval is required prior to issuance of business license. Special restrictions and conditions apply to businesses conducted in a residence. Some City zoning permits require approval of a conditional use permit from the Planning Commission prior to operation, which may take up to two months to obtain. It is recommended that your lease contract be contingent upon approval for such permits; there is no guarantee that the use permit will be approved.
