Performing Arts

The City’s Civic Arts Presents program offers matinee and evening shows at the Amador Theater that include plays, comedy, dance, storytellers, puppeteers, authors, and music by professional artists. Every summer, people also enjoy free Shakespeare in the Park by the San Francisco Shakespeare Festival. These outdoor performances are held at Amador Valley Community Park.

bring you

this classic adventure tale by

Robert Louis Stevenson.

Set in the days of sail ships and pirates, Treasure Island tells of the adventures of Jim Hawkins and his search for the buried treasure of the notorious pirate Captain Flint. Treasure Island is an exciting adventure story filled with many trials for the good men on board trying to save the treasure from the hands of the pirates and assuring their safe return home. It's a wonderful portrayal of courage and honesty.
