Have you wanted to discover your own family heritage but don’t know where to start?

Volunteer docents from the Livermore-Amador Genealogical Society will be on hand to assist you in beginning your personal family history research. Please bring any information you may have about the town or country you grandparents were living in circa 1920 to 1940.

Many people who are researching their family history come to use the Genealogy Resources at the Pleasanton Library. With over one thousand books, the library maintains the largest genealogy collection in the Valley.

The Pleasanton Library offers its patrons access to several comprehensive databases including Ancestry Library, HeritageQuest On-line, Footnotes, and the New England Historical Genealogy Society. Access to Heritage Quest Online is also available from a patron's home.
