The City is occasionally a recipient of federal, state and local grant programs that are made available to qualifying members of the general public and/or nonprofit agencies. In addition, the City currently administers a Community Grant Program that awards limited funds on an annual basis for projects and activities related to youth and civic arts. The City also administers a broader Housing and Human Services Grant (HHSG) program based on funding from federal (e.g., Community Development Block Grant and HOME Investment Partnership programs) and local funds and housing and human services.
