Museum on Main

Housed in the former City Hall built in 1914, the Museum On Main Street has rotating local, regional and California history exhibits. The moderate climate of Pleasanton and the surrounding Tri-Valley makes golfing a year-round activity. There are more than X courses, both municipal and private, in the area and Pleasanton is home to three of those.

Pleasanton is a gateway to the oldest wine-growing region in the state, the Livermore Valley. There are more than 30 active wineries in the area, and Mitchell Katz Winery, offering award-winning vintages, is located along the scenic Vineyard Corridor.
Transporation and Information...
Pleasanton is conveniently located between the San Francisco Bay area and California’s great Central Valley. We’re easily accessible by car from Interstates 580 and 680, and within an hour’s drive of several international airports. Once you’re here, getting around town is just as easy. Pleasanton is a stop on the Bay Area Rapid Transit (BART) line and has an extensive bus network with service throughout the community.
