Administrative Services

1. Approve regular meeting minutes of November 1, December 6, 2011 and January 17, 2012 and special meeting minutes of November 1, 8, 15 and December 6, 2011 and January 4, 10, 2012

City Manager

2. Approve an Exclusive Negotiating Rights Agreement with MidPen Housing Corporation for the Kottinger Place Development Project

Community Development

3. Accept or appeal actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission

4. Approve a professional services contract with Quality Counts, LLC in the amount of $34,840 for traffic data collection services

Finance

5. Accept the Monthly Disbursements and Investment Report for December 2011

6. Approve special event street closures for calendar year 2012

8. Continued from January 17, 2012 - Public Hearing: P11-0709/P11-0717, Brian and Christine Bourg (Appellants); Dave Cunningham (Applicant) – Consider an appeal of a Planning Commission decision approving a Design Review to replace the approx. 482 sq .ft, single-story house at 205 Neal Street with an approx. 1,844 sq. ft. two-story residence and Variances to: (1) reduce the front yard setback from the required 23 feet to 20 feet to accommodate the new house; (2) allow one required off-street parking space to be located in the required front yard setback; and (3) allow tandem parking (Attachments)

9. Public Hearing: P11-0997, City of Pleasanton – Adopt a Climate Action Plan (CAP) and adopt a General Plan Amendment to incorporate the CAP by reference in the General Plan Air Quality and Climate Change Element (Attachments)

10. Approve a Memorandum of Understanding between the City of Pleasanton and the Pleasanton Police Officers Association for the term June 1, 2011 through May 31, 2014

Notice

There is a 90-day limit for the filing of a challenge in the Superior Court to certain City administrative decisions and orders, which require a hearing by law, the receipt of evidence, and the exercise of discretion.  The 90-day limit begins on the date the decision is final (Code of Civil Procedure § 1094.6).  Further, if you challenge an action taken by the City Council in court, you may be limited, by California law, including but not limited to Government Code §65009, to raising only those issues you or someone else raised in the public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council prior to or at the public hearing.  The City Council may be requested to reconsider a decision if the request is made prior to the next City Council meeting, regardless of whether it is a regular or special meeting.  For information on the next regular or special City Council meeting, please call 925.931.5027 or visit the website at www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us.
