1. Approve regular meeting minutes of March 4, 2008

2. Pursuant to Memorandum of Understanding between City and IAFF Local 1974 adopt a Resolution of Intention to approve an amendment to the contract with California Public Employees Retirement System to provide Section 21548 Pre-Retirement Option 2W Death Benefit for Local Fire members and introduction of related ordinance (Attachment)

3. Adopt a resolution declaring that weeds, dirt, rubbish, and refuse upon or in front of certain described properties within the City constitute public nuisances and that they be abated and set April 15, 2008 as the public hearing date

Public Hearing - Continued to April 1, 2008: PUD-32, Daniel and Belinda Sarich – Consider an application for Planned Unit Development (PUD) to subdivide an approximately 20-acre site into two single-family residential lots:(1) approximately one-acre parcel which would include the existing residence and a new detached two-car garage; and (2) approximately 19-acre parcel which would include:(a) approximately 9,990-square-foot, two-story home with a 3,150-square-foot habitable basement with second unit; (b) 1,785-square-foot five-car attached garage; (c) 660-square-foot cabana; (d) 165-square-foot pool bathroom; and (e) 165-square-foot greenhouse. Notice

There is a 90-day limit for the filing of a challenge in the Superior Court to certain City administrative decisions and orders, which require a hearing by law, the receipt of evidence, and the exercise of discretion.  The 90-day limit begins on the date the decision is final (Code of Civil Procedure § 1094.6).  Further, if you challenge an action taken by the City Council in court, you may be limited, by California law, including but not limited to Government Code §65009, to raising only those issues you or someone else raised in the public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council prior to or at the public hearing.  The City Council may be requested to reconsider a decision if the request is made prior to the next City Council meeting, regardless of whether it is a regular or special meeting.  For information on the next regular or special City Council meeting, please call 925.931.5027 or visit the website at www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us.
