1. Adopt a Resolution setting the 2010 Calendar Year City Council Meeting Schedule

2. Adopt a Resolution adopting a Policy for the Distribution of Event Tickets in compliance with State Law

3. Introduce an Ordinance to amend the Pleasanton Municipal Code to replace references to the Public Works Director, Planning Director, Planning Department, Building Department, Director of Building Inspection, and Director of Engineering to coincide with organizational changes

4. Accept or appeal actions of the Zoning Administrator and Planning Commission

 

5. Accept public improvements performed by W. R. Forde Associates for Annual Sanitary Sewer Replacement, CIP No. 082002

 

6. Accept public improvements performed by Lawrence Backhoe Service for the Streetlight Replacement 2008-2009 project

 

7. Adopt Resolution authorizing the filing of an application for Federal American Recovery and Reinvestment Act of 2009 (ARRA) funding for the Santa Rita Road Pavement Rehabilitation Project, CIP No. 105023

 

8. Accept public improvements performed by Soto Bros. Paving Company, Inc. for the Valley Avenue Pedestrian and Bicycle Pathway Project, CIP No. 077036

 

9. Approve plans and specifications, review bids and award a contract to W.R. Forde Associates in the amount of $83,857 for the Control Valve Installations Project, CIP No. 081011

 

10. Accept public improvements performed by John D. Baker Construction Company for the traffic signal installation at the intersection of Bernal Avenue and I-680 southbound off-ramp, CIP No. 005068 and completion of the traffic signal system at Vineyard Avenue and Pietronave Lane, CIP No. 075014

 

11. Approve a preannexation agreement and sewer and water connections with Marc and Deanna Fey for property located at 6511 Alisal Street

12. Accept the Monthly Disbursements and Investment Report for October 2009

13. Adopt a resolution approving the Pleasanton Downtown Business Improvement District Advisory Board Report and Budget and declaring intent to levy the assessment for 2010

Notice

There is a 90-day limit for the filing of a challenge in the Superior Court to certain City administrative decisions and orders, which require a hearing by law, the receipt of evidence, and the exercise of discretion.  The 90-day limit begins on the date the decision is final (Code of Civil Procedure § 1094.6).  Further, if you challenge an action taken by the City Council in court, you may be limited, by California law, including but not limited to Government Code §65009, to raising only those issues you or someone else raised in the public hearing, or in written correspondence delivered to the City Council prior to or at the public hearing.  The City Council may be requested to reconsider a decision if the request is made prior to the next City Council meeting, regardless of whether it is a regular or special meeting.  For information on the next regular or special City Council meeting, please call 925.931.5027 or visit the website at www.ci.pleasanton.ca.us.
