The Training Division coordinates our public education program which includes the following:

• Gives talks and training for fire and disaster preparedness for hospitals, schools, rest homes, businesses, and the citizens of Pleasanton. This also includes earthquake preparedness information.
  
  
• Distributes information on disaster preparedness, fire safety, and burn prevention.
  
  
• Coordinates our Emergency Response Team Program for local businesses.
  
  
• Coordinates planning for emergency response for all city services.
  
  
• Coordinates fire prevention, emergency preparedness, and related public safety displays and demonstrations.
  
  
• Coordinates the Pleasanton Reserve Firefighter Program. These reserves volunteer their time to assist our firefighters with major fires and public education events.
