The Pleasanton Farmers’ Market is located at Main Street and West Angela Street in downtown Pleasanton and operates every Saturday throughout the year, rain or shine. The Market features the season’s freshest fruits and vegetables, all California-grown and sold to you by the farmers that planted, nurtured and harvested the crop. While shopping the market, take a moment to help your friends and neighbors in need by participating in the Open Heart program. The Pleasanton Farmers’ Market and Open Heart Kitchen have partnered to collect donations of fresh produce for the 3,500 meals Open Heart serves each week. Open Heart Kitchen is a non-profit meal service dedicated to providing nutritious prepared food to those in need in Livermore, Dublin and Pleasanton. Simply purchase some extra fruits or vegetables and ask the farmer to bag them separately, and then drop that bag into any of the collection boxes located throughout the market.
