Animal control problems can be reported to the Police Department 24 hours a day through the main department phone number at (925) 931-5100.

Problems are assigned to one of our two Animal Services Officers and may also be preliminarily handled by an on-duty patrol officer or C.S.O. depending on the nature of the call and if an Animal Services Officer is not on duty. The Animal Services Officers work ten hours a day, seven days a week.
