Iron Horse Trail

The City of Pleasanton and the East Bay Regional Park District are working together to design and construct a segment of the Iron Horse Trail that spans from the Dublin/Pleasanton BART station southward to Santa Rita Road.

A feasibility study and master plan for the project was completed in February 2010. The feasibility study and master plan was partially funded by a grant of $25,000 from the Alameda County Transportation Commission (Alameda CTC). For more information on the Alameda CTC, please visit their website.

Work is now underway on detailed design of this project. This phase of the project is funded by a Tiger II grant from the U.S. Department of Transportation.
