Pleasanton Pioneer Cemetery, owned by the City of Pleasanton, is located at 5780 Sunol Boulevard, Pleasanton, approximately ¾ mile south of the Pleasanton Senior Center. The City acquired the former Pleasanton Memorial Gardens Cemetery from the International Order of Odd Fellows in early 2007.
A limited number of new plots are now available for purchase. There are two (2) types of plots available: full-sized double depth burial and smaller plots for cremated remains niches (200 plots of each type). These plots are located on the south side of the Cemetery, immediately adjacent to the road. Temporary ground markers have been installed to indicate the approximate location of plots.
The maximum number of plots available for purchase is two (2) per family. A maximum of two (2) caskets and two (2) urns can be accommodated within one (1) full-sized double depth plot, depending upon the casket and urn sizes. Please note that the future transfer and/or resale of plots to other private properties is prohibited.
