Recycling

In April 2009 the City’s new residential curbside recycling program was approved. The enhanced residential curbside recycling program replaces the blue bag program.

The program provides an effective and easy way to participate with an additional cart to sort recyclables including, cans, bottles, plastics and mixed paper.  Recyclables should be placed directly into the recycling cart or in an unsealed paper bag. The contents need not be rinsed.  Residents may choose to place their cart on the curb for weekly pick up or only when the cart is full.
